Waller told his agent Drew Rosenhaus that he only wanted to play for the Dolphins.
The Giants obliged, sending Waller and 2027 seventh-round pick to Miami for a conditional 2026 sixth-rounder.
As Rosenhaus said, this was a similar situation for what he did with Rob Gronkowski back in 2020 when he wanted to play again—but only if it was for the Bucs.
Details: Waller signed a new one-year deal worth up to $5 million, making it a low-risk move for a Miami club that adds a big target over the middle to complement their speed across the board.
