Seattle’s two Super Bowl wins? Two dominant defensive showings with two entirely different groups.

🏆 Seahawks dominate Super Bowl LX

The Seahawks completed a juggernaut type of season, handling the Patriots in Super Bowl LX, 29-13. Seattle was an easy team to root for with storylines including QB Sam Darnold going from supposed “bust” with the Jets to champion, near-accountant Mike Macdonald becoming the first primary defensive play-caller to win a SB as a HC, and DE Derick Hall recording two sacks after being given a one percent chance to live after a premature birth—plus a tremendous run of drafts and personnel decisions by GM John Schneider.

It was a rough outing for the Patriots offense from start to finish, continuing a theme of the postseason for second-year QB Drake Maye and the unit. No. 4 overall pick rookie OT Will Campbell struggled on the blindside, while Maye also held the ball too long at times, missed throws, and never felt settled. The Seahawks defense racked up six sacks, two INTs, a fumble recovery, and a defensive TD on a pick-six by Uchenna Nwosu after a pressure by CB Devon Witherspoon.

Super Bowl MVP: Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III paced the offense with 27 carries for 135 yards along with 26 receiving yards, becoming the first RB to win Super Bowl MVP since Terrell Davis in 1998.

Anything can happen any given Sunday, but a Seahawks blowout like this felt like an uncommonly likely outcome when comparing their path and play in the NFC to New England’s road in the AFC. As for 2026? Seattle opens as the favorites to repeat as champions—and the Super Bowl LXI logo has been unveiled.

👀 Super close MVP race

Rams QB Matthew Stafford was named 2025 NFL MVP by one vote over the Super Bowl participant Maye. Chargers QB Justin Herbert shockingly received an MVP vote, and there’s a lot of fitting uproar over many of the voters choosing things like NFL awards and Hall of Famers having no idea what they’re doing.

👏 2026 Hall of Fame Class

Moving past the ridiculous snub of legendary HC Bill Belichick, the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame class is stacked with recent stars and two first-ballot Hall of Famers in QB Drew Brees and WR Larry Fitzgerald, who are joined by RB Roger Craig, LB Luke Kuechly, and K Adam Vinatieri.

“You guys got it wrong.” NBC broadcaster and former S Rodney Harrison, who has his own case for the HOF but hasn’t gotten in, flatly told his friend and colleague Tony Dungy that not voting for Belichick was utterly ridiculous.
